Hearst Castle is about 4 1/2 hours north of Los Angeles, not just 1 hour. It’s well over 200 miles.

Liberty Highway along the St Lawrence Seaway just downstream from Niagra Falls remains one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Late October foliage, I could see for 50 miles, and the riverbed is sunk below the highway so you can see DOWN into the colors. My first time west of the Mississippi, first time New England colors. Stunning.

Visited all the above mentioned places of California. Hearst Castle has beautiful swimming pool. Pacific Coast Highway drive is highly recommended when you visit California. Want to visit the Utah National Park during next vacation.
